Rules and Regulations
Conditions of Entry
 
  1. Nomination entries are free of charge.
  2. No video can be nominated for more than 3 (THREE) categories.
  3. All registrations should be made online
  4. The Video must be no longer than 200 seconds (3 mins 20 secs), including titles and credits (it is preferable that submissions are as close to this length as possible)
  5. All entries will be acknowledged. If no acknowledgment is received within seven days of submission, please mail us at contact@shiptek2010.com
  6. Entrants will also be notified by email if they are shortlisted
  7. The judges shall have sole and absolute discretion in determining whether or not an application meets the requirements of or is in accordance with these rules and regulations
  8. Marine BizTV reserves all rights to exclude any nomination that is improperly submitted or arrives after the deadline. Thereafter, all decisions on the eligibility of candidates will be made by the panel.
  9. The dress code for the Award Night is formal.
  10. The paper presenters, delegates, nominees and winners have free entry for the Award Night; an entry fee of 170 USD would be availed from others.
 
Judging

All submissions will be assessed by a judging panel of some eminent maritime personalities. No correspondence as to the reason why a particular entry was not successful will be entertained. The decision of the Judges will be final and undisputable. All data's and synopsis will become the property of Marine BizTV and part of its archives. By submitting an entry, you agree that Marine BizTV shall have permission to publish any material contained in the submission. Award entry material is on the public record and no content will be treated confidentially. Entrant acknowledges and agrees that Marine BizTV reserves the right to amend, modify or terminate the competition at any time.

 
Awards Presentation

Shortlisted companies will be advised of further details prior to the awards ceremony dinner. Shortlisted entrants should ensure that they or their representative(s) are able to attend the ceremony on Thursday, 19th April 2010.

Winners will receive a trophy and a certificate from Marine BizTV. All short-listed companies may use the ShipTek 2010 Award logo on their websites, stationery and publicity material in relation to the subject of the short listed entry.
